Who You Are
As our Plumbing Install Manager, you are an experienced leader with deep plumbing knowledge and proven people-management skills. You thrive in a high-volume, KPI-driven environment and are comfortable managing large teams across multiple divisions. You are hands-on, solutions-oriented, and confident handling escalated customer concerns while driving performance, productivity, and quality across the install department.
Essential Job Functions
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the Plumbing Install department, leading a team of 40+ installation technicians
- Manage performance metrics, KPIs, productivity, quality scores, and departmental profitability
- Recruit, hire, train, coach, and develop plumbing install technicians and field leaders
- Foster a culture of safety, accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement
- Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, and one-on-one coaching sessions
- Address and resolve escalated customer complaints with professionalism, empathy, and urgency
- Ensure all installs meet company, manufacturer, and local code standards
- Collaborate closely with dispatch, sales, customer service, and other trade managers to ensure seamless scheduling and workflow
- Monitor job progress, callbacks, warranties, and rework to minimize inefficiencies
- Enforce company policies, procedures, and safety standards consistently
- Analyze operational data and reports to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
- Maintain strong knowledge of plumbing systems, installation techniques, and best practices
- Support company growth initiatives and scaling efforts in a high-volume environment

Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- 3+ years of management experience, preferably leading large teams
- Strong background in plumbing installation or operations
- Experience working in a large, high-volume service organization
- Proven ability to manage KPIs, performance metrics, and multiple divisions or teams
- Excellent leadership, coaching, and team-development skills
- Strong customer service and conflict-resolution abilities
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and make data-driven decisions
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Proficient in basic computer systems and operational software
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to company values
- Fluent ability to speak, read, and write in English
Preferred Qualifications
- Plumbing license (preferred, not required)
- Experience with service or field management software (ServiceTitan preferred)
- Experience in home services (plumbing, HVAC, electrical)
Compensation & Hours
Pay: $100,000 – $150,000 (Base + Bonus)
Schedule: Monday – Friday
Location: In-office position
